The lobby of the BTC Hotel project located in Iraq was approached as a spacious lounge area geared toward long-stay accommodation. Columns clad in wood and light-toned stone divide the volume, defining separate seating groups. Concealed lighting in the coffered ceiling illuminates the space evenly during hours of limited daylight. The reception counter is positioned at one end of the lobby, with the bar and service area at the other. The neutral palette of beige and brown tones is enriched with patterned rugs and classically styled furniture.
