Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK), the data controller is our company SOGA Mimarlık Ltd. Şti., registered with the Istanbul Trade Registry Office and resident at Atatürk Mah. Ertuğrul Gazi Sok. Metropol İstanbul A Blok No: 331, Ataşehir / İstanbul. For us at SOGA Mimarlık Ltd. Şti. (“SOGA Mimarlık”), the confidentiality and security of your personal data is among our highest priorities. In this context, in order to fulfil our duty to inform arising from Article 10 of Law no. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“Law no. 6698”), we present the following explanations to the attention of our valued customers and of third parties and visitors who use our website.
Our aim is to inform you as clearly as possible about the identity of the data controller, the ways in which personal data is collected, the purposes and methods of processing, the legal grounds for collection, to whom and for what purpose personal data may be transferred, and the rights of data subjects. This notice applies to those who wish to obtain information about SOGA Mimarlık products and services; to natural persons who use the website and the call centre in order to submit requests, suggestions or complaints regarding products and services; to customers and prospective customers, suppliers, job applicants, former employees, subcontractors and subcontractor employees, and to SOGA Mimarlık’s business partners or corporate customer representatives.
1. What is the legal basis for SOGA Mimarlık’s collection of personal data?
Law no. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, published in the Official Gazette no. 29677 of 07.04.2016, entered into force in order to safeguard the privacy of individuals’ private lives and to give legal protection to data whose disclosure to third parties would be objectionable. All data processed in the course of our business operations is assessed within this scope, treated as personal data and protected as required by law.
In line with Law no. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data and its secondary legislation, and within the principle of respect for the privacy of private life and for fundamental rights and freedoms, our company exercises the utmost care to take all necessary technical and administrative measures to prevent unlawful access to the personal data collected and to ensure its safekeeping.
2. For what purpose does SOGA Mimarlık process and use personal data?
SOGA Mimarlık may record, store, update, disclose to third parties, transfer, classify and process your personal information in the cases and to the extent permitted by legislation.
Your personal data is processed and used for the following purposes:
– Providing products and services,– Verifying the identity details of the person carrying out or requesting a transaction,– Recording the address and other information required for communication,– Conducting order and delivery processes,– Contractual processes and the follow-up of commercial affairs,– Fulfilling legal obligations and providing information to the relevant authorities.
3. To whom and for what purpose may your personal data be transferred?
The personal data collected may be transferred to our business partners, suppliers, group companies, to public institutions and organisations legally authorised to receive it, and to private persons, within the conditions set out in Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK, for the purpose of carrying out our activities.
4. What are your rights as a data subject?
Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, by applying to SOGA Mimarlık you have the right to:– learn whether your personal data is being processed,– request information if it has been processed,– learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose,– know the third parties in Turkey or abroad to whom personal data has been transferred,– request the correction of data processed incompletely or inaccurately,– request compensation for damage you suffer as a result of processing contrary to the KVKK.
