B. K. House is an interior project that treats the living and dining section of an apartment as a single living volume. A dark green wall surface forms the space’s backdrop, against which a wood console, a mirrored cabinet, and a glass display case stand out. A glass-topped dining table and slim-profile chairs were chosen to visually lighten the volume. On the living room side, a dark-toned rug creates an invisible boundary separating the seating group from the dining area. The natural wood flooring and the turquoise tone in the textiles complete the space’s color balance.
