The GE Aviation Gebze project covers the entrance and reception section of the technology center. The building was set into the sloping site; the green surface at the upper level conceals the building’s mass from its surroundings and brings the entrance forward. The entrance hall is defined by full-height glass surfaces, establishing visual continuity between interior and exterior. The wide hardscape in front of the entrance functions as a reception area for corporate visits. The landscaping, with orderly rows of shrubs and lawn surfaces, was arranged to reinforce the building’s horizontal lines.
